The winning combination of Director Selva and Jeevan is back again. Selvas’ 2007 hit Naan Avanillai, which itself was a remake of the old Gemini Ganesan starrer, is going to have a sequel now. The sequel will also be called “Naan Avanillai”. Unlike the first part, the sequel will have an original script.

Both Jeevan and Selva have not had any success of late. Jeevan’s Machakaran and Thotta failed big time at the box-office and Selva’s Machakaran was a flop too. Produced by Nemichand Jhabak, the sequel will have debutant Hema Malini and Sangeetha in lead roles.
