Frederick J Kaplan, Public Affairs Officer of the US Consulate General in Chennai will leave the city on July 1st after serving Chennai for 35 months. He will be succeeded by Michael Pelletier, who is now working as Public Affairs Officer in Dubai. At a farewell organized for him by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Mr Kaplan said  “I will assume charge as Labour Officer in Brazil after a four-week break in Seattle. I am happy to be taking up the new assignment in a BRIC nation.”
