Minister for School Education, Thangam Thennarasu, said on Saturday that thirty model schools on the lines of Kendriya Vidyalaya, funded by Union Ministry of Human Resource Development would come up in the state in educationally bakward blocks. He also added that “Facilities of the schools would be on par with that of Kendriya Vidyalaya. However, the choice of medium of instruction rested with the State Government,” .
