MDMK General Secretary Mr Vaiko appeared before the Chief Metropolitant Magistrate Court on wednesday in connection with the criminal complaint filed against him for defamation of the Chief Minister Karunanidhi. The DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, represented by the Party Prinicipal Secretary Arcot N Veeraswamy had filed complaint against Mr Vaiko for defaming him in connection with the attck on the office of film director Bharatiraja at Purasawalkam here.Mr Vaiko had to come to the court when he was sent a copy of the complaint. However the court has posted the case for July 14th.
