The Tamil Nadu Tourism development corporation has geared up to host the annual Mammallapuram dance festival , a source of major tourist attraction. The Union ministry of Tourism has offered assistance to TNTDC and tourism departments from various states will participate. The fete begins on Dec 25 and concludes on Jan 25. On Jan 7, the major attraction will be the cultural programme sponsored by Jarkhand tourism department , while on Jan 12, 18, 20 and 24, tourism departments of Manipur , Rajasthan and Nagaland will sponsor the culturals.
