Madras High Court holds petition on Dinakaran attack as not maintainable. [Saturday, December 20, 2008]
The petition filed by the mother of a victim on the Tamil daily, 'Dinakaran' attack , has been held as not maintainable before the Principle Seat, by the Madras High Court. The petition seeked permission to present complaint on the incident before any Metropolitian Magistrate Court in Chennai. But the Madras High Court has held that the petitioner was free to present the matter before a Permanent Bench of High Court in Madurai.
