Dalai Lama optimistic about Tibetian issue. [Thursday, January 22, 2009]
In his vist to Chennai, Tibetian spirtual leader Dalai Lama said that Nobel laureates could appeal to the Srilankan government to stop attack on Tamils. " It is sad to see so much of violence. I pray and hope for a peaceful resolution of the conflict", he told the press at the University of Madras. Dalai Lama was optimistic that Tibet would soon get full autonomy from the Chinese government. " It is a matter of time; the spirit and determination of the present generation of Tibetians are stronger than the previous generation and there is more global awareness about our struggle".
