The DMK treasurer and Local Administration minister, M K Stalin called upon the people of Tamil Nadu to name their children in Tamil. Addressing the anti-hindi agitation anniversary meeting organized by the Kancheepuram unit of the party, he said that the naming of children in pure tamil was the only way the tamil speaking people could show gratitude to those such as Thalamuthu, Natarajan,Rajendran and others, who lost their lives and livelihood in the anti-hindi agitation.
