To express the concern towards the plight of the toddy planters, Tamil Nadu toddy movement under the leadership of co-ordinator S Nallaswamy is planning to tear the copies of the Prohibition (Enforcement) Act. Mr Nallasamy in his address to the press said that the government amendment of the Act in 1971,1975,1987 and 2003 is against the interest of the toddy tappers and coconut and palm farmers.The act has only proved to be helpful to IMFL manufacturers.
