Subramanian Swamy, Janata Party President was manhandled by a group of lawyers in a court room at the Madras High Court on tuesday. As Justice P K Mishra and K Chandru were hearing the petition related to the 'Chidambaram Temple Case', the group of lawyers entered the court hall shouting pro LTTE slogans. The lawyers manhandled Mr Swamy and threw eggs at him  in the presence of the two judges. They also prevented the CRPF personnel from entering the court. The lawyers in the high court and the lower court were boycotting court proceedings for the past few weeks in connection with the Srilankan issue.
