Ignoring the appeal of the Supreme Court, the lawyers continued their agitation protesting against the attacks on the lawyers by the police officials on February 19th. They ties black clothes across their mouths and sat on a fast on the fifth day , observing it as a black friday. They were seated on NSC Bose Road in front of the High Court. The speakers at the venue condemned the police action on the court premises.
