Elephant turns violent during 'Ravan's' shooting  [Friday, July 31, 2009]
   
 

                          Maniratnam's 'Ravan's'shooting was proceeding at a very fast pace in Kerala. The latest news is that the crew witnessed quite a bit of commotion when an elephant that was brought for shooting turned violent. The incident happened at around 5 pm near the Athirapally water falls. The road near the Athirapally forest was blocked due to the commotion and Aiswarya and Abhishekh had to stay in the forest rest house for about six hours. The elephant had killed the mahout. The ntire crew escaped without danger and the shooting resumed after few hours.
