Music Maestro A R Rahman was awarded an honarary doctorate by Anna University in recognition of his overall achievements and contributions to the world of music. This is the second doctorate that the composer is receving for his works. According to the Vice Chancellor of the university, P Mannar Jawahar, A R Rahman was awarded the doctorate along with other doctorate holders in Media Sciences at a special function in the University on Saturday.
