Finally the producer of Kanthaswamy, S Thanu, confirmed the release of Kanthaswamy. Kanthaswamy will be in theatres on 21st August. "Kanthaswamy has come at an appropriate time. I am happy to have been associated with a talented director like Susi and a multi-faceted actor like Vikram. Everything is grandeur in the movie", says the director. The release of the movie starred by Vikram and Shriya was postponed due to some final graphic works. The film, according to the director will be  avisual treat to all kinds of audience.
