Director Kasthoori Raja, father of Selvaraghavan said that the main reason for the split between Selvaraghavan and Sonia Aggarwal was the extreme posessiveness that they mutually had. “Extreme possessiveness is the reason behind the break-up of Selva and Sonia. Both were affectionate and cared a lot of each other. They even came together for my birthday function, just two days before the filing of divorce,” he says. It was Selvaraghavan who first acknowledged the four year long love affair beetween Selva and Sonia and he said that Sonia was a daughter to both him and his wife and will always continue to be so.
