The All India Film Employees Confederation has decided to confer there prestigious ‘Global Achiever Award’ to Chief Minister M K Karunanidhi.The decison was announced by V C Guhanathan, President of Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). "Karunanidhi has served the film industry in the capacity of a writer and literary person for the past 70 years. He has penned story and dialogues for more than eighty films. His achievements in politics and services to the society are well known. Hence we want to confer ‘Global Achiever Award’ and honour him on this historical event", said the president.
