Veteran Film maker K Balachander in his welcome address at the ninth national conference of All Indian Film Employees federation said that the association and all its members should join hands to fight against the video piracy that would in the long run erase the future of film industry. “We do not seem to have the political will or the police strength to wipe out video piracy. But someone has to bell the cat. The evil has to be rooted out to safeguard film industry,”said Mr Balachander.
