Actor Kamal Hasan was given a court order by the Madras High court restraining both the actor and the affiliated Pyramid Saimira Productions from making any statements regarding the agreement entered into by bith of them. The actor along with Raaj Kaml Films International had filed an application seeking to restrian Pyramid from issuing any comments regarding the agreement. The actor said that the statements issued by the company had caused him much discomfort and influenced the perceptions of the public. He said that it required much explanations to clear the facts before the public. "The evil intention behind this smear campaign in an attempt to tarnish my image is to spoil the chances of success of my new picture, Unnaipol Oruvan," said the actor. Meanwhile, it should also be kept in mind that the formerly popular and prestigious Pyramid Saimira productions are now running at a loss with its share price drastically dropping down by more than 75% after the failure of its many big budget movies like Azhagiya Tamilmagan.
