The T series obtained an injunction against 24 hour telugu news channel 'NTV' and Sun Network Ltd for using its copyrights illegally without subscribing to it. The T series is normally very strict with copyright violations and was against the two channels for using its copy right contents to make their TV  ad reality shows. Depite many warnings against this and many notices for registration and renewal of subscriptions, both the channels continued using the content and was issued an injection. The case was filed with the Delhi High Court and after reviewing the petition and the documents, the court ordered that the T series has made a prima - facia case for the alloting of an interim ex-parte injunction.
