Kollywood's peppy actress Tamannah was awarded the prestigious Shantharam Award for her Telugu film 'Koncham Ishtam , Konchem Kashtam'. The award is instituted in the name of veteran bollywood actor Shantaram, by the Rajkamal Academy of Cinematic Excellence (RACE). The institution has been giving away the awards for the past 15 years. Tamannah has become the first south indian actress to win the award. The director of the same movie was choosen for the best debutant director award. Surely the kollywood kaadhali will be all excited about this, her latest achievement.She also has made kollywood proud.
