The Mozart of Madras, Mr A R Rahman who was in town to launch the sound track of the Hollywood film 'Couples Retreat' said that it was a great thing to have new composers coming up in Kollywood. He also added that some of the tamil compositions were brilliant and was good tune wise and production wise. His currently released Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya has created huge audio sales. Ther has been great demand for the songs over the net as well as VTV is also his firt venture in tamil after receipt of the academy awards. Mr Rahman guranteed that his to be released works, 'Enthiran', 'Sultan the Warrior' and 'Raavan' will be quite distinct from each other. The news that his composition in 'Couples Retreat' has been nominated for the academy awards has created a big flutter among his fans and all of them are anxiously waiting for the Oscar declaration day on February 2nd.
