Mannja Velu starring Arun Vijay in the lead role is now in the post production phase. The shooting of the film is complete with the climax scenes shot in the Perambur locality. The film which is half throug the post production work will have its audio release in February. The team behind the film is very similar to the Malai Malai team, which was Arun's previous flick. Another notable factor of the film is the reentry of kollywood's veteran actor Karthik. Manja Veelu is the remake of the telugu flick 'Lakshyam' and has 'Karthik' playing the role of a police officer. Dhanishka, of the Peranmai film is the lead actress. "We all were impressed by 'Lakshyam' and hence decided to make it in Tamil. I thought Arun Vijay would be apt for the role played by Gopichand in the original. Hence I have joined hands with him once again."said the film director Venkatesh about the movie.
