Despite the week long protest and threats raised by Shiv sena activists against the release of the movie My name is Khan, movie goers and fans of Sharukh Khan actively flocked in the ticket counters to ensure that they see the movie in the first day of its release. None of them seemed to be concerned about the shiv sena threats. The movie was released in 40 theatres in MUmbai and all was well right from start. Though there were reports of incidents of vandalism by shiv sena supporters in some place, there were no much serious incidents as predicted.
