After numerous hurdles that it had to face at a stretch, the shooting of 'Ko' was launched by the team. The team had to face numerous troubles right from the start. The issue started off with the initially fixed actress Tamannah getting replaced with Karthika, daughter of former kollywood heroine Radha. After that Silambarasan, who was to do the lead role, walked out refusing to act opposite Karthika. Depite all hard times, the self confident director K V Anand was patient enough for things to get back to normal. The team has launched the shooting with Jeeva in the lead. Karthika would remain the heroine for the movie. The music of the film is scored by Harris Jayaraj.
