The betrothal ceremony of Soundarya Rajanikanth, younger daughter of kollywood super star Rajanikanth, was held at a star hotel on wednesday. The event was attended by numerous celebrities and leading political figures including the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister came along with his family, daughter Kanimozhi, and daughter in law Durga Stalin. The leading personalities from film field included  K Balachandar, producers Panchu Arunachalam, Kalaipuli S Thanu, directors S P Muthuraman, Shankar, lyricist Vairamuthu and actors Prabhu and Vijayakumar. Soundarya's fiancee, Ashwin Ramkumar is an engineering graduate and his managing his father's construction business in Chennai.
