Kollywood actor Ajith was given police protection at his residence in Valmiki Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur. The police forces were deployed around his house from friday onwards with the suspicion that his house would come under attack. A group of persons claiming to be fans of Ajith damaged the vehicle of film stunt director Jaaguvar Thangam. The stunt master was in Madurai in a shooting location when the incident happened. He lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of police. The stunt director, in his interview to a magazine, criticized the remarks made by Ajith on actor's being forced into politics. The  attack came after this. There after, reports were also lodged about an unidentified gang who threw stones at the stunt master's residence. The stunt master's wife was injured and was admitted to a private hospital.
