Kollywood super star Rajanikanth and Bollywood sensation Sameera Reddy may form the core cast of the tamil version of 'Aptharakshaka', the last film of the deceased kannada actor Vishnuvardhan. Kollywood director P Vasu has plans to remake the film in tamil ever since he saw the special screening. He had decided then that he would only have super star Rajanikanth as the lead if ever he remakes the movie. Sources now say that the super star has agreed to the project. The director is currently holding talks with Sameera Reddy to cast her as the female lead.
