Kollywood actor Silambarasan has decided to venture into professional singing for his pocket money. Ever since his first attempt, he recieved a lot of offers through his film colleagues. His latest attempt was for a film starring Jayam Ravi. Yuvan Shankar Raja, Simbu's close friend was the music director. Simbu sang the song 'Pattu Pattu Pattam Poochi' written by lyricist Muthu Kumar. "I give all my film earnings to my mother and take money from her whenever I need. But When I sing for others the money I get is extra and that is my pocket money”. said the mama's boy.
