Illayaraja files complaint against Echo audio company [Thursday, March 18, 2010]
Kollywood music director Illayaraja who was angered by the acts of the audio company 'Echo' filed a complained against the managerial board for not paying him royalty for the past 25 years. Illayaraja complained that the company was planning to sell his works to an international company abroad for millions of rupees. The music director said that the Tamil Nadu Producers Council assured to help him in this regard. He requested the police commissioner T Rajendran to take necessary action. He also said that he was representing all musicians who were facing the same issue. Illayaraja was accompanied by Siva Shakthi Pandian, and T Siva.
