Shruthi Hasan, elder daughter of Kamal Hasan, actress and music director will work with A R Murugadoss and Suriya. The film will have Suriya in the lead and Shruthi would be the female lead.

The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. She said that she is happy to be a part of the project. Shruthi also added that she was excited to work in a film with Suriya in the lead. “I am a big fan of Suriya. He is one of the powerful actors we have today and I am thrilled to share the screen space with him. I guess we will make a great pair. I am eagerly waiting for the film to go on floors,” said Shruthi.

Shruthi also said that she is planning to stay in Mumbai considering the growing projects that she is offered from bollywood. However she said that she would always be in Chennai, as it was her dad's place and the place where she grew up.
