Swamy demands resignation of P Chidambaram [Tuesday, April 6, 2010]
Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy demanded for the resignation of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram. Mr Swamy demanded that the Union Minister should accept the responsibility of the massacre of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Chattisgarh and should resign at the earliest. He said that tendering apology is not sufficient and that the Union minister should atone for it. “Mr. Chidambaram should atone by resigning forthwith from the Cabinet for this gross lapse, which enabled a terrorist organisation to kill so many of our jawans. If he does not do so, the Prime Minister must sack him,”said Mr Swamy.
