Kollywood actor and politician Vijayakanth's own TV channel 'Captain TV'started its telecasting today. The channel was launched by the actor himself at Vannagaram in Chennai. The function was attended by senior officials in charge of the channel and his own party cadres and close family members. “Films, movie-based programmes, news bulletins, reality shows, awareness programmes, serials and sting operations will be presented to the viewers in a nice package. Captain TV will not be your usual television channel,” said L K Sudeesh, the Chief Executive Officer of the channel. The channel has roped ina number of youngsters as anchors, reporters, news readers and journalists. So there comes one more option to our large choice of tamil tv channels...!!
