The tamil film personalities under the leadership of Seeman has protested against the decison of the IIFA to conduct its awards ceremony in Colombo. The pro tamil group has also threatened to picket the house of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachan if he continues to promote the awards function in Colombo. The group has also warned that they would be boycotting 'Raavan' in which his son Abhishekh, and his daughter in law Aishwarya has played lead roles. “Amitabh is a great hero for us in the Tamil diaspora, but we are very disturbed and profoundly saddened by our hero’s proposed visit to a regime which has perpetrated crimes against Tamils.
