Kollywood movie 'Sivappumazhai' wich was made in his 12 days is banned in Srilanka. The movie speaks about the pains and suffering endured by the Tamils in Srilanka during the war.

The flick centres around the life of a Srilankan man Suresh Joachim who ends up kidnapping the minister's daughter, role played by Meera Jasmine, and trying to get done his demands.The film was directed by debutant director V Krishnamurthy. The film made it into the Guinness Book of Records for being shot on 12 days. The ban that the movie faced in Srilanka is expected to face a good fame for it in Kollywood.
