Vijay's dad and veteran director S A Chandrasekharan appealed the kollywood audience to promote his upcoming flick 'Veluthu Kattu', a film based on former president APJ Abdul Kalam's call to dream high. The director appealed to the audience to encourage the freshers who would be donning roles in his flick. “I launched Vijayakanth in ‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’. I introduced Rahman to Tamil cinema with ‘Nilave Malarey’. Later I launched Vijay in ‘Nalaiya Theerpu’. All the actors who were introduced by me have made a mark,” he added. The songs of the flick are directed by Bharath. The film has Kadhir and Arathy in lead roles. The flick is directed by Senapathimagan.
