Sun pictures acquired 'Kutrapirivu' a police story with Srikanth, Prithviraj, Kamalini Mukherjee and Sanjana in lead roles. The film was a bilingual and was released in Andhra.It did not do well in the box office and all of a sudden Sun announced its surprise plan to acquire the film for release only in chennai. The flick will be released on May 21. The film is based on the works of two police officers who set out to resolve the naxal issue that bothers state of Andhra.
