Indian music maestro A R Rahman will perform at the inaugural ceremony of the Common Wealth games in Delhi. The organizing committee chairman of the Common Weath Games, 2010, Suresh Kalmandi said that the music maestro has scored the theme song for the event and will deliver it at a live concert during the opening day ceremony.

“We will however release the song in advance because we want the whole stadium to sing along when Rahman performs the song. It will be huge event involving other Bollywood celebrities too.” said the chairman of CWG. With this, Rahman has proved himself to be an inevitable component of all events that carries national and international priority. It is worthy to remember that he scored the music for the World Classical Tamil Conference, and The Indian Premier League.It can also be thought that the nation proudly shows of one of her geniuses in the field of music.
