Hrithik Roshan's latest flick 'Kites' with Barbara Mori in the lead has been taken off from all the theatres in Tamil Nadu as a response to his participation in the IIFA. The actor has stuck to his decision to attend the function despite the boycott threats from the SIFCC . All theatres that were screening the film cancelled the shows after the ban statement was handed over to the authorities. The 'Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam' also requested the othe South Indian states screening the movie to take it off from the theatres. Hrithik and Salman Khan were the few stars who chose to attend the IIFA despite requests from the South Indian counter parts to withdraw from the event hosted by the Srilankan government.
