The whole story beyond Genelia's alleged attempt to attend IIFA is now out. The actress  who was unaware about the turn of events in the south was all prepared to attend the IIFA in Colombo accepting the invitation of her friend Ritiesh Deshmukh. But the actress was intimated about the situation just few hours before her scheduled departure. To be precise, Kollywood producer Asca Ravichandran cautioned the actress about the brewing issue.  "He was the one who saved Genelia from being issued a red card. Because he has roped in the actress for 'Velayudham', his forthcoming film with Vijay.It was only after Ravichandran cautioned Genelia not to attend the IIFA, she decided to stay back. She was quick to realise the gravity of the situation and knew that she might lose out on a big film if she went ahead", said sources close to the actress.
