Veteran director Maniratnam said that he was planning to say good bye to films after his multistar venture 'Raavanan'. But he has been forced  to don his directorial role yet again as it demands his attention. "When I was getting ready to start ‘Raavanan’, I thought I would retire after this venture. I wanted to settle in Kodaikanal and play golf everyday. Having completed the movie now, I am ready to start my next project soon," . Speaking about the release of Raavaan on Friday, he said that he was not worried about the expectations on the film. He said he was only concerned about delivering quality movies. Though Mani syas he has no clue about his next project, he said that he will be starting it off without much delay.
