Academy award winner A R Rahman had to cancel his show in Detroit. It was cancelled due to the collapse of the huge sets that injured some crew and other bystanders. The team immediately decided to cancel the show. Rahman announced the news to all his fans by buzzing in a popular networking site. The programme was to be held on JUne 19 and then on June 20 in Toronto. Both the programmes were cancelled. The show was a part of his Jai Ho World Tour. All his performances attracted a large number of audience in all cities. Though the cancellation of the program in Detroit came as a disappointment to all his fans, all of them sympathised with him on his team getting injured.
