Ace director Maniratnam who was responding to the ongoing controversies related to his movie , Raavanan, said that his film was an attempt to portray a man who thinks in ten different ways. He made it clear that it had nothing to do with Raamayanam epic. “My movie is about a mighty man whose behaviour is due to different attitudes that strike his mind to adopt for a situation. It’s like 10 different persons sitting inside one man. Hence the title”, said Mani. Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt who supported Amitabh Bachan also held that editing of the film had cast a shadow on the performance of Abhishekh. Meanwhile, reports were spreading online that the film had bagged a huge collection world wide within the first three days of release. Reliance Big Pictures, the distributors of the flick said that the collection of the flick crossed Rs 53 crore.
