Seeman denies the allegation [Thursday, July 15, 2010]
Film director and Naam Thamizhar Aiyikkam leader Seeman denied the allegation that he made an inflammatory speech in Chennai. He said that he had only expressed his ill feelings against the Srilankan government and had not made any controversial speeches. “My speech would not fall under the offence as alleged by the prosecution. Freedom of speech was a fundamental right,” , said Seeman. The director was arrested on July 12th for making the alleged speech.
