KOllywood super star Kamal Hassan was given a stunning reception by the Kerala government on sunday evening. The programme titled Swarna Kamalam began at the fixed time and was marked by the presence of number of distinguished personalities from kollywood and mollywood . The event was also attended by big guns of Kerala politics including some opposition party leaders. Kamal Hasan was presented the award by Chief Minister Achuthanandan. The event also marked the lauch of week long Onam celebrations in the state. The award function was followed by a glossy cultural event graced by mollywood and kollywood actors and artists.
