Veteran Kollywood actor Kamal Hassan who was honoured by the Kerala government on sunday said that he was brought into the film industry by ace mollywood director Sethumadhavan. Kamal expressed his profound gratitude to the director who introduced him to mollywood flicks at the age of five. Ever since then it was a long journey that awaited the actor. The actor remembered with gratitude kollywood director K B Balachander who introduced him to kollywood. “I am at a loss for words to express how deeply I am indebted to Malayalis. It was they who helped me come up forgiving my shortcomings as an artist.”, the actor said at the function. His mentor in mollywood, Sethumadhavan was also felicitated at the programme.
