Kollywood director Samy's house was attacked on monday morning. His car and house was attacked allegedly by a group of people as a protest against his recently released 'Sindhu Samaveli' based on illicit relations. "I have been receiving threatening calls since the day the movie got released. Even my producer Michael Rayappan was flooded with phone calls warning him of dire consequences,", said the producer to the media. He clarified his stand saying that his movie was well directed and had even obtained clearance from the Regional Censor Board. "even the Regional censor Board had given certification for the film and appreciated it. They instructed me to mute a couple of dialogues, which I obliged", said the director. The city police has started enquiry based on the director's compalint.
