When the 57th National Award's were declared on wednesday, Kollywood had good reasons to rejoice. Though the industry missed the Best actor award brought home last year by Prakash Raj, Sriram and Kishore of 'Pasanga' bagged the Best Child Artiste award to compensate. Pasanga also bagged the best film in the regional category. “Thanks to Sasi Anna and Padiraj sir who trusted me. I also thank my parents who gave their full support and encouragement all along. I have never been so happy in my life,” , Sriram responded to the award. “I am still not ready to believe I have won a National Award. We were told that the film would win a few awards. But this kind of recognition is unbelievable. Thanks to the director and the producer.”, Kishore said. The award for the best Dialogue director was bagged by Pandiraj for Pasanga.
