Kollywood director Gautham Menon's Photon Kathaas Productions is now listed in the AIM market in London. Photon thus turned out to be the first kollywood production company to be listed in an international stock exchange. Few weeks back a London based newspaper had highlighted the investment opportunities hidden in the south indian film industry. The listing of Photon thus came at the right time. The company has Gautham Menon and his close aides sharing the capital. A R Rahman is on the Advisory board of the company. After listing itself the company is now planning for venturing into more projects with medium budget. The current projects of the company include ‘Azhagar Saamiyin Kuthirai’ directed by Suseendaran, Veppam directed by Anjana, Nadunisi Naaigal and the Hindi remake of ‘VTV’ in association with Fox Star Studios by Gautham himself.
