Kollywood director Shankar has finally confirmed the lead actors in the tamil remake of three idiots. Since the announcement of the project the media was into a lot of speculation as to who would be the three idiots on tamil. There were a number of guesses. A section of the media reported that Siddharth would play the lead. Few others said that Suriya and Vinay would be seen in the remake. The last news was that tamil actor Vinay has said a No to the project as he thought that the role was not beefy enough. Now the director himself has confirmed the idiots. They will be Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth respectively. Tollywood actress Illeana will be the female lead and actor Sathyaraj will don the role of Prof.Virus in the tamil remake. The official launch of the movie will be held in the first week of December. This will be the second project of Shankar after his much talked about Endhiran.
