Kollywood actor turned politician Vijayakumar's project,'Virudhagiri' will hit the screens by December. The actor has plans for a glossy audio release.

"Captain has organised ‘Virudhagiri’ audio release at Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam on November 22. The function will be attended by his fans and party workers besides big guns from Tamil cinema.He has selected Trade Centre as the venue because a large crowd is expected to attend the function.", said sources close to the actor.

Virudhagiri is the maiden directorial venture of Vijayakumar. The flick is produced by L K Sudheesh of Captain Creations Banner. The flick has Vijayakanth himself in the lead. He has also crooned some popular numbers in the flick.
